Matthew 9:9-13 (NIV)
As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector's booth. "Follow me," he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.
While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and "sinners" came and ate with him and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and 'sinners'?"
On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners."

Hello I really like your blog I have a "small business" site/blog. It pretty much covers "small business" related stuff.
Hmm, that is a fantastic passage. Isn't it true that those who think they are healthy and think they are righteous, are ignorant to the truth of the gospel message. Conversely those who feel like they are messed up, sick, or sinful, can identify with a need for healing and righteousness. It makes sense that Christ would come to earth for those who would accept Him. He didn't come for those who would reject Him. As Christians we need to find the sick and the sinners, and tell them about how they can be healed and become righteous. We need to show people that they are dreadfully ill and that they are sinners in need of the Savior - Jesus Christ.
