Just Ambassadors show at Thom

Hey everyone,

Thanks again to everyone who came out to the Campbell show. I appreciated that Youth group support. Thursday May 4th is our next show and it is at Thom Collegiate. It is a Battle of the Bands type of thing although the winner doesnt get a prize. All the funds go to Terry Fox. So heres all the Info.

Time: 6:30 (doors) 7:00 (bands)
Date: Thursday May 4th
Cost: $3.00
Location: Thom Collegiate (Argyle St. North)

Well I hope you all can make it. This show should be way better then the Campbell one. Especially since there is no folk singers and rappers. Just punk/rock/hardcore bands.. If you guys don't like that type of music then I apologize in advance for the chaotic noise. But Just Ambassadors are less screaming then most of the other bands there so come for us at least. haha. Anyways.. I hope you can come.

Unfortunately I can't make it, after all. I was hoping I could, though. I leave for Banff on the fifth of May (which is our band trip of the year), and I know that I've got a big project or two due the day we get back to school . . . so yeah, looks like I'm out. Have fun, though. You'll do great, I'm sure :) See ya!

I encourage everyone to come out! The more people there the harder it makes us wanna play. I'd be very stoked to see youth group friends near the front. Please come

Okay, so maybe I AM coming. MAYBE. That is, if I can get a ride. Yeah, as long as it's not a late night for me, because I definitely definitely definitely cannot be late for our bus (leaving for Banff) on Friday morning. I have some packing to do, and I just learned that our project is really due in two weeks (yesss), so that means less stress for me and I'll hopefully be able to make it out to Thom. Now as for a ride . . .

that's hardcore for ya sister

Yes, it was hardcore. And it was fun. I had to kinda get used to the screaming, though. Somewhat a different experience in comparison to our Banff trip. We definitely got to hear some sweet groups. (Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band is SWEET!) P.S. If anybody's reading this, how was the Grade 12 take-over?

The Gr. 12 Take Over was pretty sweet, minus a few loose ends - but that was my fault since I'm a gr. 9er apparently - but yeah it was sweet! I invited my friend Gordon and there was Hillsdale IdEL (not idOL) and giant Dutch Blitz, sardines, movie, DDR, lazer tag...indeed!

Oo, sounds like a fun time. I had a good time, myself. I was kinda sad because I missed the all-nighter though, but Banff was definitely fun :)
