I concur with ye on the encouragement of Josh's verse, Kiersten! It's awesome to constantly be reminded of how to strive for knowing and trusting in the Lord more and more every single day, and it's so SO EXCITING(!!!) to see you everybody growing!Oh ya . . . Did I mention how much of an encouragement you all are to me!? That really 'tis true!

Wow, that passage in 2 Corinthians has really been on my mind alot too from the retreat. It's so easy to get run down in the craziness of our busy lives, and not get enough sleep, and feel like we're wasting away. My favorite part of verse 16 is where it says we are being inwardly renewed day by day, because it offers hope but it challenges us too. Are we being inwardly renewed day by day? If not, then what do we need to change about the way we live our lives so that we are being renewed day by day? Is time spent with God on sunday morning enough for us, each week? I hope we can all say no. I also like the part about focusing on the unseen. It's easy to say, "How am I supposed to do that if I can't see it?!" Well, if we aren't focusing on the temporary things we can see...we are focusing on God. And to think that by this He will glorify US...wow, such love, such mercy, such grace. Praise God, for He is faithful.
