My world is filled with ethical shortcuts, Lord. The world's way of getting things done has no sharp edges, only rounded moral corners. I want the sharpness, the exactness of your way, Father, that cuts through self-deceit and wrongness of the world's way.

that's really neat. today, before I left Arlington, i was just sitting on the beach and i was thinking about God's ways and how we are to follow them exactly. how nothing should hinder us from taking what he says and putting it exactly into practice. wow. God works in such powerful ways!!!
